Day 242: Starting the last tentacle

Almost there! I was out most of the day so I did a little bit this morning. I still have hope I can finish this last one up tomorrow.

Day 241: Tentacle progress

Not much time tonight so I just got halfway through the next tentacle. This weekend will be pretty busy but I'm still hoping I can finish the tentacles at least.

Day 240: Another tentacle

I'm slowly getting closer and closer to the light at the end of the tunnel with these suckers. Only two more sets to go.

Day 238: Eyes

I was ready for a break from endless suckers. They were super fast and made me feel like I completed something, so mission accomplished.

Day 237: Hat progress

I'm officially halfway done with the suckers! The tentacles and suckers will all get joined together once they are all finished. I'm going to take a break and work on the eyes a bit first though.

Day 236: Hat progress

Another day another tentacle. Once I hit the halfway point with these suckers I'll probably take a break and do the eyes just for something different.

The main body of the hat went very fast but the suckers are slowing me down now. It's like second sock syndrome but times 8 for all these tentacles.

Day 232: Hat progress

It is nice to swap to a project like this one where I can make a lot of progress very quickly. I took a close-up because I want to show off how gorgeous this yarn is! (It is Loops & Threads Chameleon in Orangesicle.)

Day 231: Started a hat

I couldn't keep myself away from all that new yarn I bought last week. I've been holding on to this pattern for a while. I think this yarn is perfect for it.
