I got it in my head that I wanted to make homemade pizza tomorrow. Not just any pizza either, Chicago style deep dish. I thought I’d be clever and stop for ingredients on the way home from work. Except I forgot unsalted butter, and I didn’t actually have as much flour in the cupboard as I thought. So I had to run back out to the store and didn’t get to start my dough until late. As of this post it’s 10:30 pm and I’m still not finished yet. Once I am done half of it will go straight into the freezer for another time, and the other half will chill out in the fridge until tomorrow night. I’ve never made pizza dough from scratch, so here’s hoping this works!
