I wove in some ends and got about one more row done today. I usually like to weave in my ends as I go but I had been waiting a bit since my disaster where I had to undo so much work. The thing that took the most time (aside from having to re-stitch everything) was having to dig out my ends which were woven in too well to just pull loose.
I’m hoping I can eventually get a good photo of this project that really captures what this yarn looks like in person. This photo catches the purple color but not the full effect of the metallic threads. I suspect it might need a photo from some distance with the flash on to really bring out the shine. This yarn (Knit Picks Alux) is really gorgeous and during one of their sales I might have to break down and get some more so I can make something for myself with it!
