I am back from my holiday travels. Between all the time in the car and some quiet time with family I got a lot of work done on this scarf. Now I’ve had lots of practice with cables and I think I actually enjoy them!

I know what you mean about the cables. It took me a while, but I finally enjoy them. Yours are very nice!

Thanks! I spent way more time worrying about whether I was “ready” to try cables than it actually took to learn how to knit them!

I know what you mean! 😂 I did the same thing with cables…..and now I’m doing it with trying Fair Isle knitting, lol.
Your cables look so good in that yarn. The scarf is gonna be pretty!

Ooooh I want to try Fair Isle but it has to get in line behind learning how to make socks, and learning how to knit lace. Good luck!

Thanks Gracie! I just started socks a few onths ago, and I’m addicted. ADDICTED! LOL. Now Fair Isle socks? Not going well at all….ugh….

Thanks! It’s funny, I didn’t like the green and purple together on the mitts I just made, but here I like them a lot. I think the bits of yellow and blue tie them together better in this yarn.
