I’ve seen a few folks knitting bralettes lately and it intrigued me. I had some rainbow yarn caked up for another pair of socks and decided to cast on a Ripple Bralette instead. It looked fairly simple and I like the look of the design.
So far I think this project might be cursed. I had to learn the Old Norwegian Cast On which took me a while to get the hang of. Then I apparently liked it way too much because I accidentally cast on 100 more stitches than the pattern called for. Of course I discovered this after several rows of knitting. It was a crying shame too because the colors were pooling almost perfectly. Oh well. I also messed up the twisted rib in one section and had to tink back to fix it. That’s quite a trick considering I haven’t even finished one row yet.
I just keep telling myself that this is going to be an amazing finished object that I can wear around the house all summer. Hopefully I won’t have any more mistakes to fix for a while so I can make good progress.
I’m sorry you’re having trouble! But yeah it’s a great pattern and I’m sure it will turn out lovely in the end
