Back in 2018 when I was learning how to knit, the very first project I completed was this mat/mug rug. It is slightly larger than the rest of my dishcloths and I find it a very useful size. For the last few years it has lived on my desk, protecting the glass top from my dishes and cups. Since I’ve been teleworking full time it is getting more use than ever. After all that wear it is starting to look a little sadder, so I decided to make a new one. At least this way I’ll have a backup to use when one is in the wash.
