On Saturday I decided to give this recipe for scones a try. It came highly recommended, and it was incredibly simple. As promised, the ingredients came together in about the time it took for my oven to come up to temperature. My only complaint is that they are almost too light and fluffy for scones, but some of that might be user error. I think if I had cut them into more uniform pieces I could have baked them all a tiny bit longer and it would have improved the texture for me. It really didn’t matter much though, because they are delicious, and now we have breakfast for the week!
