Lucky Socks finished!

Here’s my third finished pair of socks for the year! I’ve loved the self-striping yarn and I absolutely love this colorway. These went much faster than my previous pair, probably because they were competing with sweater knitting for less time than my previous pair. I decided not to do contrasting toes. The striped toes look good, other than the minor difference in where the stripes ended. So I have one sock with a gold toe and one with a tiny green stripe. I also washed and blocked these, which I don’t always do with socks. I’m glad I did with these though, because the BFL yarn felt a bit “rustic” while I was working with it, but once I washed it it became beautifully soft and almost silky. It’s wonderful and I will definitely be happy to work with this type of yarn again.
