As promised, I actually picked up the stitches for the button band right away. It doesn’t look like much at the moment since I only managed 2 rows after that. On the one hand, this feels like a bit of a slog since I’m now working over even more stitches than the body of the sweater. On the other hand, I think it is still going to fly since I am so close to the finish line now. With a little luck I might get this done and blocked over the weekend!
