I’m still racing against the clock to try to get these done in time for Halloween. It isn’t necessary but it is a fun challenge. As of right now I’m just about to start on the heels. I’m hoping that I can get both of those done by tomorrow evening. I plan to do a shadow wrap heel, which seems to go much quicker than my usual heel flap and gusset. It also means I should use less of my self-striping yarn for the gusset section, maximizing my chances of having enough to finish these socks!
