I split my knitting time over the weekend between my sweater and these socks. I finished the legs and one of the heels, and I’m pretty happy with that. This yarn continues to delight me every time I look at it. I swear the only reason I bother doing contrast heels/toes/cuffs is because then I know I will have enough leftover yarn to make another pair!
Depending on how fixated I get on my sweater this week I should be able to get the other heel and at least some of the foot done this week. That leaves plenty of time to get them done before xmas, and maybe even cast on that second pair.

Had to laugh at your comment about contrast toes and heels. I too delight in that means I can make two pair of socks, especially since I only wear anklet length!!
