I’m at the short rows!! I finished colorway number 19 and tried everything on. It turns out that the length was plenty for my taste. In fact, I’m a little concerned now about the sweater growing when blocked. I still decided to do the short rows in the back, mostly because I’ve never done short rows at both the top and bottom of the garment before and wanted to try it. I did a few less rows than the pattern called for though. Once I finish this round I’ll start the ribbing and the split hem. This pattern has so many really nice little details. It makes some parts take a little longer than I am used to but so far everything has been completely worth it in terms of the look and fit of the sweater.
