Very Green Socks started

I realized it has been a while since I cast on a full-sized pair of fingering weight socks. In fact I think the last pair I finished was back in December. Since then I’ve just been knitting shorties, or DK weight socks. So I decided it was time to get back to some “real” sock knitting. For this project I decided to use up some leftover yarn I had lying around. The cuffs and heels (and maybe toes if there’s enough left) are using some yarn leftover from my dad’s Volcano Trail Cowl. The body of the sock will be leftover self striping yarn from my Lucky Socks. I’m not sure yet what kind of pattern I might use for the body, but no matter what, the end result will be a pair of very green socks.
