I am officially past the split for the arm holes now. I’m still a bit nervous about how to handle the color fade now that the front and back are separate, but I will deal with each new section as it comes. For now I have done a rough estimate of the amount of the color section remaining, and have split it so I can use half on the front of the tee. Eventually I will have to divide the colors into quarters as well, to handle the neck opening and shoulders. There are going to be a lot of extra ends to weave in but I think it will look the best. I’m also making a mental note that when I want to use the other cake I have of this yarn, that I should only consider patterns that are knit all in one piece!
