September 2022 Goals

I actually finished some things this month! September might make things a little more difficult, since we are moving a few hours away. Wish me luck!

Completed in August:

Current WIPs:

  • Very Green Socks – knit
  • Single Malt – knit

August Goals in review:

  • Start a sweater for my dad. Done! It is still very early in the process, but it looks great so far.
  • Finish my Napatree Tee. Done! I love it! I love it! I love it!
  • Use up some kitchen cotton. Done! I knit a couple quick dishcloths this month.

September Goals:

  • Finish the body of my dad’s sweater. This might be a stretch depending on how busy I get with work and moving, but I want to try.
  • Finish my very green socks. I’m slightly annoyed with myself that I got so close to the finish line with these and then lost interest. They need to get off the needles.
  • Keep knitting during the moving process. I know things are going to be very busy and stressful, but I still want to try to do something creative every single day.

2022 Big Goals:

How am I doing on my big goals for the year so far?

  1. Learn entrelac. Done!
  2. Finish my Wingspan. Done!
  3. Fix my Fluff Nugget. Done!
  4. Knit a colorwork sweater. Done!
  5. End the year with less yarn than I started 2020 with (i.e. net decrease of ~2900 g). This is the last month of my yarn club, and I’m not planning on any new additions until my advent arrives. For now, I gained 120 g and used up 279 g for a net decrease of 209 g of yarn this month.

*For large projects, I count yarn as used when I cut to change colors or when I use up a full skein.

The whole moving process has my life upside down right now, but I am still trying to keep crafting as much as I can!
