I started this project over the weekend while I was waiting for my Countdown Cardi swatch to dry. I just couldn’t stand having empty needles. The pattern seems to be very nice and clear, and I am looking forward to learning 2-color brioche. Unfortunately I am not loving the yarn I chose. This is yarn I initially purchased to use for a baby knit. I couldn’t use it for that project because even though it is a wool-acrylic blend, it is rated as hand wash only. Definitely not great for baby gifts. The high acrylic content also just makes it less nice to the touch. I am going to press on for now, but will likely end up giving away the finished product.
