I am on a bit of a dk weight yarn kick at the moment. I was looking for patterns to use up the last few dk minis and leftovers from my Countdown Cardi and saw that this pattern was just released. The combination of simple flat garter stich with some colorful intarsia seemed perfect. I have done one other intarsia project, but that was stockinette in the round. So far this is a great combination of mindless knitting broken up by a few rows where I have to pay attention to something new. I decided to use up my scraps from the cardi first, so I am fading the confetti blocks instead of using 3 contrasting colors. It feels a little plain right now, but hopefully it looks good when it is done. I’m enjoying it so far!
